Star Guild is pleased to announce the Jr. Star Guild. The Jr. Star Guild originated when a few of the American Girl Fashion Show models from previous years had outgrown the American Girl costumes – making it unable for them to participate in the fashion show. Still wanting to be involved in the show weekend and make a contribution to Seattle Children’s – the girls came together to form the Jr. Star Guild.
Any girl or boy, between the ages of 10 to 18, is eligible to join the Jr. Star Guild. If your child is interested, please contact the Jr. Star Guild Advisor, Wendy Tumbleson at wtumbleson28@gmail.com. Jr. Star Guild activities take place throughout the year.
The Jr. Star Guild members will be helping with many activities during the American Girl Fashion Show weekend. They will be acting as greeters/hostesses - guiding attendees to their seats and answering any general questions that they may have. In addition, they will be lending a hand in the Doll Hair Salon.
The Jr. Star Guild will also be providing a craft activity at the Jr. Star Guild booth in the Marketplace. Fleece sleeping bags for your American Girl doll & mini-Star Guild fashion show scrapbooks will be available to make and purchase.
In addition, in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital, Jr. Star Guild members will be collecting Crayola® Crayons for the Child Life Department at Seattle Children’s. Please bring and donate your new Crayola® Crayons to the Jr. Star Guild booth in the Marketplace.
